What to Expect

  • What's a service like?  Worship services follow the Lutheran Service Book and weekly bulletins.  They are typically organ led with occasional special music from the choir, bell choir, and Sunday School Children.

  • How do people dress? Overall the congregation tends to dress in a business casual style (i.e. dress pants, a shirt and possible tie or jeans and a sport jacket for men; dress pants and a blouse or skirt and a blouse for women).  However you will see men in suits and women in dresses as well as those who wear jeans and a polo.  All styles are welcome.

  • What about my kids?  Children of all ages are welcome to attend Sunday worship services and participate in a Children’s Message.  No childcare services are available during the worship services.  If you do need a moment to calm your child, there is a non-staffed nursery room available that you and your child can use during the service. If your child is 3 years old and older, they may also participate in Sunday School which begins at 9:15 am.

  • Can I take communion?  As an LCMS Church we practice closed communion.  If you are a member of another LCMS church and are attending Grace, please speak with an Elder or pastor before the service about taking communion.  If you are not a member of an LCSM church, we welcome you to join us in worship but please do not partake in communion.

  • How can I get connected? If you would like to know more information ahead of time, please contact one of our pastors or the church office.  When you arrive for Sunday Worship, you can speak with the greeter at the church entrance or the Elder on duty.

  • Where do I park?  The main parking lot is located on the west side of the church providing easy access to the southwest entrance of the church, which is handicap accessible.  Street parking is also available along the south and east sides of the church. An overflow parking lot is located to the southeast of the church, across the street.
